It's #TBT...not going back too far, yet, but it seems like a fitting time to share some bittersweet news: WH began in '93, with Preacher at the helm this whole time -- 22 years! Not many bands can say they have played that consistently, even while changing players, with barely a break. This is a friendly break -- no drama, no animosity, and for that we are grateful. We, as individuals, just want to move in other directions. TC (Theresa) & Tracy Jane will continue rockin' with Acoustic Alloy, Tracy will resume some solo performing, and Jeffrey Root knows he will be playing the bass as often as he can & looks forward to new opportunities, as will our dedicated drummer, Siggy. Preacher will keep in touch & we will let y'all now any future plans for WH. And thanks to our Sound Guy, always there for us through many miles, Tom Furan! We are NOT going out quietly and want to see you out at our upcoming gigs- this weekend at Ho-Chuck-Dells, Wed, 8/5 at Bowl-A-Vard Lanes, Saturday 8/8 when we party at Black Earth Field Days, and , for our FINAL gig together, on Saturday, 9/12 at The Hody Bar Hody Bar! PLEASE come out, say hi, share some memories... We have made such good friends over the years - been through some of your weddings, divorces, heartbreaks, the deaths of some close friends, family members, & WH dancers, watched as kids came of age & out to see us, and the venues - remember those crazy Dry Bean nights?!? YOU are what has made these years so special. In fact, over the next few weeks, we will be sharing some past pics of some very fun times - feel free to tag yourself, and to share pic of your own, and tag us. Let's celebrate live music - always. |

Our bass player (Jeff) is famous! Well, at least he got some local press recently. There is a very interesting story about him and a long-lost bass. See these links! |

Our show at Gray's Tied House on Oct. 27 will be a HALLOWEEN party! There will be costume judging (by crowd response) at our first break, which will be around 9:15 or so. Please come out early for the contest, and stay LATE! Drink special for the night: "Dead Pig and Blood!!" That's a 20oz Bacon, Bloody Mary for $5 - a perfect drink for Halloween! |

Wild Heart fans strike again! We had an awesome time filling up Gray's Tied House in Verona on Saturday, and you could definitely say we went over extremely well. In fact they asked us back two more times this year and we were more than happy to say yes! |

WOW what a crowd at Country Corners this past Saturday! Not only was the place close to capacity, but those people REALLY had fun. We have a bunch of long-time Wild Heart fans plus some brand new ones to thank for that. Sarah managed to pull off a surprise B-day party for Jesse which included about a thousand of Jesse and Sarah's closest family and friends. OK, that might be a slight exaggeration, but it is the Gospel truth that Jesse wowed us all when he sang "Sweet Home Alabama." You can do that anytime Jesse! |

It was so great to see so many Wild Heart fans at Badger Bowl last night, there to support me and TC (Acoustic Alloy) as we opened for the fab LOVE & THEFT! Wild Heart's fans are AWESOME! Look for pics soon, possibly some video(!), and also see our separate website, www.acousticalloy.com. We have a couple more duo shows this month if you like early shows...Thursdays starting at 6:30 on March 8 and 22. We are co-billing with our pals Field & James, who do lovely jazz-flavored originals and tasty covers. Please join Acoustic Alloy on Facebook as well, to stay informed of our duo shows. |

WOW what great fun at Countryside Inn on Friday night! Thanks to all who came out. Some of our favorite partner dancers were there, plus a group of line dancers, and then a group of lovely ladies doin' their own cool dancin' thing showed up later in the evening. Check out the pics from the show (see GALLERY link above). Thanks to Sack for doing a great job with our sound! We hope to be back soon. |

New Years Eve 2011: We had another wonderful night at the Northern Edge celebrating the final hours of 2011 plus the first hours of 2012! Some of us chose to order the gigantic bone-in prime rib (which by the way is bigger than Siggy's head) and others stayed with the seafood buffet, but either way, Life is Good! Wild Heart is looking forward to another great year of playing out and entertaining y'all in 2012! |
